About Us
3rd Sudbury Sea Scouts is a section within the 3rd Sudbury group. We run a mixed troop with boy’s and girl’s  between 10 and 14 years of age. Meeting every Thursday night starting at 19.00hrs and finishing at 21.30hrs, taking only a break for Christmas .
We run water activities through the summer. During the winter we teach coastal navigation and the theory needed for the summer season, along with all the usual activities that you might expect from a Scout troop, CLIMBING, SHOOTING , CAMPING,  PIONEERING, FIRST AID AND COOKING ON OPEN FIRES.
We are a smart, well disciplined troop, with inspections once a week to make sure the high standards remain. We have a parents evening called a "laying up supper" where awards are given out for best attendance and smartest inspection, as well as best over all sea scout at the end of each season.
