3rd Sudbury Scout Group are pleased to announce their recent appointment as an RYA Training Centre for power-boating. This follows many years of successful power-boating activities by the Sea Scouts and particularly Rob Palmer.
Rob is the Centre Principal and Chief Power Boat Instructor in addition to holding the post of Sea Scout Leader.
We use the latest equipment available and are pleased to operate a Valiant DR520 Safety Boat fitted with extensive electronic and other safety equipment to make your power boat training a fulfilling and safe experience.
Our home base is the Scout Headquarters at Sudbury with a coastal training facility at Brightlingsea courtesy of Brightlingsea Sailing Club of which we are affiliate members.
