St Georges day parade 22nd April 2007

On Sunday 22nd April, 20 Sea Scouts joined with other Scouts from across the Sudbury District to celebrate St George’s day at Long Melford.  They paraded from Long Melford Scout hut up to Melford Church which was full. Will McEntegart carried the Troop Colours. Presentations were made inside the church to adult Leaders for long service and Leader Training Awards, these were presented by the District Commissioner for Sudbury District Gordon Edgar.

Zoe Richardson , the ASSL at Sea Scouts received her 15 year service award, and Rob Palmer, Sea Scout Leader, received his wood badge.
